Hi, I'm Mrs. Carney! Teaching is actually my second career in life. I became a substitute teacher when my daughter was in kindergarten and my son was in 2nd grade and fell in love with the students and the learning environment and decided to pursue my Master's Degree in Elementary Education.

I love reading mystery novels and if I am able to do that while sitting on the beach, then it is a super awesome day in my book. Although they stress me out most weeks, I am a huge Steelers fan!!

I am looking forward to having a fun and thriving learning year with the children!!

Important Information:

* Students need to take black folders and planners home daily

* Planners need to be checked and signed nightly (planner contains homework) & folders need to be checked for important papers

* All assignments can be found on Google Classroom

* I use the Remind App  to communicate with parents/guardians
