How to use Google Drive offline
Overview: This document provides a step-by-step guide on how to mark files as available offline in Google Drive so that they can be accessed by Chromebooks that are operating off the Internet. Any file that exists on Google Drive can be made available offline, including documents, sheets, etc.
Please Note: It is best to be connected to the Internet for this step to ensure that Google Drive is fully synchronized before files are made available offline.
Step 1: Locate the files(s) you would like to have available offline and "right-click" either by Alt+click or using two fingers to click the touchpad to bring up the options menu (more "right-click" info here). Select "Available Offline" from the menu.
Step 2: Verify the file has been successfully flagged for offline use by clicking "Offline" and making sure the file appears in the resulting list.
