This course will provide students with a basic knowledge of the fundamental concepts of the science of Sociology. Sociology is the study of human society and group behavior. Students will work in an interactive classroom setting while studying the origins of sociology along with the specific topics of culture, gender, deviance, social structure and related sociological phenomena. This will be a discussion-based course in which students will continue to develop their skills in reading, writing, and speaking.
