• Algebra I

In this course students will explore the language of algebra, geometry, data analysis, probability, and statistics in verbal, tabular, graphical, and symbolic form in a continuation from Pre-Algebra. Students will apply their knowledge in problem solving activities that will encourage students to model patterns and relationships with variables, and functions and to construct, draw, measure, and classify geometric figures. Students will connect mathematics to other topics they are studying such as biology, geography, art, history, and health, through problems that are rich in algebraic concepts.

    Pre-Algebra is a prerequisite for Algebra I.

At the end of Algebra I, students will be required to take the Keystone Exam for Algebra I.
